EUR is driven by European Central Bank policy, Eurozone growth and inflation (especially Germany, France, Italy and Spain), peripheral bond spreads, and political risk. EUR/USD is heavily influenced by the Fed–ECB rate differential.
ECB decisions depend on Eurozone core inflation, wage growth and services prices. When these cool, markets price in cuts and the Euro tends to weaken; when they stay sticky, cuts get pushed back and EUR strengthens.
