There is still a heap of uncertainty in the Euro zone at the moment due to the fact that there has been no solution in the current Greece debt situation. The finance minister has been meeting Euro Zone officials all week to renegotiate the current debt plan however so far there has been no movement on this what so ever which has contributed to the weakness in the Euro.
Tomorrow there is a Euro Group meeting which has the sole purpose of sorting out a plan for Greece so we may well see some sort of movement tomorrow, it is important to know that there will be no warning when a solution has been made, so for those of you who are holding out on buying the Euro, waiting will be a gamble for you.
If you were purchasing 100,000 Euros in December it would have cost you £78,125; On current exchange rates, the same 100,000 Euros will now only cost you £74,074.07 giving you a current saving of £4050.93 in just 2 months.
I do not just guarantee an unbeatable exchange rate compared to Currency Brokers & Banks but I also provide analysis for all of my clients to assist them with timing their transactions effectively, and with these current volatile markets it is important to make sure that your money is protected and you are given the correct information.
For Sterling sellers the inflation report this week was a big help, BoE governor Mark Carney suggested that interest rates will not go up in 2015 due to deflation and low energy and oil prices, however it is important to realise that this is not necessarily a bad thing; with food and energy prices so low, it gives the consumer more money spare to spend on other things, which will drive up retail sales and inflation, this will start to boost the economy over the next 2 years, alongside more jobs and higher wages this will give us a more stable economy in the long term,
Until the Greek debt situation is resolved, economic data is not having much of an effect on the markets, however if you are worried about these situations affecting your currency transactions then please don't hesitate to contact me.
